Vera Suza Brewery

Vera Suza is one of Australia’s first craft brewers.
Upstairs is reminiscent of a typical country pub. Farmers sip lagers and chit-chat with the employees at the circular bar, while a crackling fire keeps the no-frills dining area toasty.

The entire enterprise is powered by solar energy, and the dining room tables were carved from fallen trees discovered along the riverbed.

Another aspect of Vera Suza’s aim is to support local farmers. The menu rotates every two weeks based on the availability of fresh local ingredients. Out back, the crew produces its own hops, which are gathered on brew day.
